Stress

Stress refers to the effect of the failure to respond properly to a threat, including both emotional and physical ones, real or imagined. Stress results from a state of alarm in which the body produces adrenaline and uses short term resistance as a way to cope. Common symptoms of stress include but are not limited to: an inability to concentrate, tension in muscles, headaches, increased heart rate, etc. While there are many causes of stress, there is no way to eliminate every stressor from your life. The best way to cope is to learn how to manage your stress.
