We believe everyone should be able to access psychological services, and with Medicare rebates this has became easier. You will however, need a referral from your GP to access psychological therapies under the Medicare scheme and your doctor will need to assess your mental health.
If you make an appointment with us on your own initiative, without doctors referral, you will be covered only by Private Health Funds, but your doctor will not have to assess you.
Accepted forms of payment include cash, EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Bankcard. We follow the recommendation of our professional association, the APS (Australian Psychological Society website) in our fee structure, but maintain some flexibility too.
If you receive a referral and a GP Mental Health Care Plan (item 2710) from your GP you are entitled to a Medicare rebate up to $129.40 per session for maximum of 10 individual sessions per calendar year. Please call us if you would like more information.
